Golf Tournaments & Outings

What You've Been Waiting For...

You have been waiting for this all year long. The sun is warm, a light breeze is blowing, and the golf course is stretched out in front of you. If this sounds like a scene out of a dream, then Bison Golf & Country Club is a dream come true. Each year we play host to some of Show Low's most successful golf tournaments and corporate outings. A day on the course may be just the thing you've been looking for to strengthen your company's mindset or to raise funds for your organization. Start planning today by completing the form below to contact our professional staff.

Bison Golf Events

Our golf tournament schedule includes four (4) types of events. In most events a small prize fund is established and then, according to results, is paid to the players in the form of pro shop gift certificates. Bison Golfers play the game for enjoyment and camaraderie and not for the intense competition that may be cultivated at other clubs.

  1. Couples Team Events
  2. Men and Women Competing in separate team and club events
  3. Mixed Team events
  4. Mixed Team events

USGA Handicap System

In order to be eligible for Bison Golf tournaments it is important for each player to have a verifiable USGA handicap. The pro shop staff is happy to prepare the handicap computer to record your golf scores and assist you in properly posting the round. Bison golfers are able to enter scores while at the club or from their home PC. For those new to the game, this software system records your golf scores and is designed to reflect the improvement in your game and your potential scoring ability. Golfers utilize the USGA handicap system to promote equity in competitions and allow players of different abilities to compete on a level playing field.
